SUMMARY

cPanel, L.L.C. has updated packages for EasyApache 4 with libcurl versuin 8.3.0 and OpenSSL 1.1 version 1.1.1w. This release addresses vulnerabilities related to CVE-2023-38039 and CVE-2023-4807. We strongly encourage all libcurl users to upgrade to version 8.3.0 and all OpenSSL users to upgrade to version 1.1.1w.

AFFECTED VERSIONS
All versions of libcurl through 8.2.1.
All versions of OpenSSL through 1.1.1v.

SOLUTION
cPanel, L.L.C. has released updated packages for EasyApache 4 on September 20, 2023, with libcurl version 8.3.0 and OpenSSL version 1.1.1w. Unless you have enabled automatic package updates in your cron, update your system with either your package manager or WHM’s Run System Update interface.
