EasyApache4 2024-02-07 Maintenance and Security Release

    • EA-11947: Update ea-tomcat85 from v8.5.97 to v8.5.98
  • libcurl
    • EA-11948: Update libcurl from v8.5.0 to v8.6.0
    • CVE-2024-0853: OCSP verification bypass with TLS session reuse


cPanel, L.L.C. has updated packages for EasyApache 4 with libcurl version 8.6.0. This release addresses vulnerabilities CVE-2024-0853. We strongly encourage all libcurl users to upgrade to version 8.6.0.

All versions of libcurl through 8.5.0.

cPanel, L.L.C. has released updated packages for EasyApache 4 on February 7, 2024, with libcurl version 8.6.0. Unless you have enabled automatic package updates in your cron, update your system with either your package manager or WHM’s Run System Update interface.
