The Fedora Legacy Project announced termination of service on February 9, 2007. Affected operating system distributions include the following:
These distributions will no longer receive security and feature patches. cPanel recommends upgrading to a vendor supported distribution. While cPanel will continue to officially support these distributions for installed systems, new cPanel installations will no longer be supported.
cPanel continuously evaluates operating system distributions for security, stability, and compatibility with cPanel software. cPanel reserves the right to terminate support for distributions based upon our continued evaluation. Distributions lacking vendor support are slated for discontinuation of cPanel support.
The Fedora Legacy Project announced termination of service due to lack of community interest and involvement as well as financial limitations. cPanel would like to thank project members and contributors for their service to the hosting community.
